Two parts: the Base Experience with Management, and the live workshop built on it
Everything DiSC® on Catalyst™ Base Experience is where every Everything DiSC® on Catalyst™ program begins: the Everything DiSC® assessment, a personal Everything DiSC Workplace® profile each learner keeps, and ongoing access to the Catalyst™ platform. Everything DiSC® Management adds the manager's layer: how each manager directs and delegates, motivates, and develops the people on their team, and how they work with their own manager.
The Workshop Package delivers both to your managers in five live, online sessions led by a Certified Everything DiSC® Practitioner, for your own cohort of up to 10. The first two sessions build the shared language of DiSC® and put it to work on the relationships each manager relies on. The last three sessions apply that language to the everyday work of managing: directing and delegating, motivating, developing each person, and working with their own manager. The profiles, the team report and the Catalyst™ access are all included in the price.
A short overview of the Everything DiSC® model and the research behind it: the assessment is tested and retested for accuracy, engagement, and learner satisfaction.
WHY ORGANIZATIONS BOOK THE WORKSHOP
Great managers aren't born. They're developed.
Imagine you promoted your best engineer to lead a team of six. She hands every person the same brief in the same way. One person feels micromanaged, another feels left alone, and a third has quietly stopped raising problems. Your new manager knows what needs to be done. She has not yet learned how to adapt her approach to each person.
Most managers are in the same position. The Workshop Package gives your managers a shared language for how each person works, then applies it to the everyday work of managing: directing and delegating, motivating, developing each team member, and working with their own manager.
Delegation that fits the person
Managers learn how much direction each team member needs, and adjust how they assign work and check in.
Motivation tailored to each person
Managers see what drives each direct report and build an environment that keeps people engaged.
Development with intention
Managers spot growth opportunities and coach each person in the way that person responds to, without micromanaging.
People who stay
People stay longer and do more for a manager who understands how they work, which reduces turnover on every manager's team.
PURPOSE AND KEY OBJECTIVES
What the workshop is for
Organizations book this workshop for a business reason: friction between people costs money. A manager who directs every person the same way loses time to rework, misses what motivates each person, and watches good people disengage or leave.
The purpose of the Workshop Package is to help your managers cut those costs, so more of each team's time and energy goes into the results your organization is measured on: productivity, retention and, in the end, profitability.
To get there, by the end of the five sessions participants will:
1
Understand their own style
Each participant understands their Everything DiSC® style, with the motivators, stressors, strengths and blind spots that shape daily interactions.
2
Recognize and appreciate other styles
Participants recognize the styles of their colleagues and adjust how they communicate and collaborate, which reduces misunderstandings.
3
Know their management style
Each manager understands their own management style and the priorities that drive their approach to the work.
4
Direct, delegate and motivate each person
Managers adapt how they hand off work and create a motivating environment for each direct report.
5
Develop talent
Managers support the different long-term development needs of the people on their team.
6
Work better with their own manager
Managers understand how their own manager tends to see them, and how to connect, get buy-in and handle conflict.
Your objectives may differ. Symphony 100 discusses these objectives with you up front. If your team has different priorities, the objectives and the emphasis of the sessions are adjusted to match. Results vary with each team's culture, participation and follow-through: results disclaimer.
WHY A WORKSHOP
Why not just read the reports on your own?
Imagine you lead a ten-person product team. Everyone has taken the assessment and opened their profile. A week later, most people remember their style, a few have explored Catalyst™, and Tuesday's planning meeting runs exactly as before. The team read the reports, but the team's habits did not change.
A shared conversation instead of ten private readings. The team compares styles together, live, with polls and breakout discussions.
Practice as well as insight. Guided exercises work on the team's real working relationships, including difficult conversations and feedback.
A certified facilitator in the room. The facilitator answers questions as they come up and keeps every exercise tied to how your team actually works.
Follow-through after the sessions. Each participant leaves with post-session resources and an action plan, and Catalyst™ keeps the learning part of everyday work.
WHO SHOULD FACILITATE
Internal, external or hybrid: choose the delivery that fits your needs
Some organizations certify their own facilitator, some bring in an external partner, and many combine the two. Our guide to choosing and developing facilitators compares the strengths, risks and best practices of each approach. If you would rather deliver the program in-house, these are the two places to start:
Facilitate in-house
Everything DiSC® on Catalyst™ Practitioner Experience
Everything an internal facilitator needs to run the sessions: facilitation content, tools, resources, and know-how on Catalyst™. Facilitator and Group Culture Reports are included.
Anyone who facilitates should also consider Everything DiSC® Certification: training and certification from Wiley, the publisher of Everything DiSC®, in interpreting profiles and leading sessions with confidence. It comes with the certification course and the other items a facilitator needs.
For teams that want a highly professional, interactive, results-oriented program delivered for them, Symphony 100 is pleased to offer this Workshop Package.
THREE WAYS TO START
Which live workshop fits your team?
Symphony 100 offers three live online workshops on Everything DiSC® on Catalyst™ for teams and managers who are getting started. Each one builds on the one before.
Five live, online sessions of 90 minutes each on a private Zoom link, led by a Certified Everything DiSC® Practitioner
10 Everything DiSC® on Catalyst™ assessments and Everything DiSC Workplace® + Management profiles, in PDF and interactive versions, with ongoing access to the Catalyst™ platform for every participant
10 Supplements for Facilitators covering Everything DiSC Workplace® and Management, for participants who like detail and want additional insight
One team report of your choice: the Everything DiSC® Facilitator Report or the Everything DiSC® Group Culture Report
One Everything DiSC® Team View Report
Post-session resources and an action plan for each participant
THE FIVE LIVE SESSIONS
Five sessions that turn insight into everyday management
All five sessions, seven and a half hours in total, run live and online on a private Zoom link and on the Catalyst™ platform, with polls, breakout discussions and application exercises. From time to time, a producer assists the facilitator to keep the delivery smooth and professional. The sessions are typically scheduled one week apart, which leaves time to put each session into practice, so the series keeps its momentum. An optional sixth session, on Your Groups and action planning, can follow.
Participants leave with greater self-awareness and a clearer view of how their style shapes daily interactions.
1
Welcome and who is whoEach participant introduces their role and one tip colleagues should know about working with them, so the facilitator and the group know who is in the room.
2
The Everything DiSC® modelThe four styles, the two questions that sit under the model, and why no style is better than another.
3
Your profileEach participant works through their own Everything DiSC Workplace® profile: the priorities that drive their behavior, and what energizes and drains them at work.
4
Your colleaguesHow each style sees and reacts to workplace challenges, and how to recognize a colleague's style from everyday cues.
5
Wrap-up and a task for Session 2Before the next session, each participant compares styles with two colleagues on Catalyst™.
Participants turn insight into practical tools they can use right away to build more meaningful working relationships.
1
Check-inWhat participants noticed about themselves and their colleagues since Session 1.
2
You and other stylesHow each style responds to conflict, feedback and collaboration, and how to adjust your approach to each one.

4
Practice in breakout roomsSmall groups rehearse a challenging conversation using what they learned.
5
Action plan and closeEach participant leaves with an action plan, and the team agrees how it will keep using the shared language.
Managers adapt how they hand off work and how they motivate, one direct report at a time.

Check-inWhat happened when managers tried the change.
2
Develop talentManagers discuss the advantages and disadvantages of their natural way of developing others, and the different development needs among their direct reports.
3

4
Action plan and closeEach manager leaves with an action plan for the people they manage and for the relationship with their own manager.
OPTIONALSESSION 6 · 60 MINUTES · YOUR GROUPS ON CATALYST™
Your Groups and action planning
Sessions 1 to 5 cover the basics of each application. This optional session takes the program to the next level: the team turns individual insights into a plan for the whole team. Some teams run this session on their own; others ask Symphony 100 to facilitate it.
1
Your team on one mapThe team builds a group on Catalyst™ and reads the group's style mix, strengths and areas for growth.
2
Using Your Groups in practiceYour Groups is not limited to one group. Participants learn to build different groupings over time, small and large, as people join and leave: a project team, a leadership team, a new-hire cohort.
3
The intentionThe team discusses what the group view is for, and how the team will and will not use it.
4
PrivacyLearners who prefer not to share their style can opt out from the Privacy tab in Catalyst™ and change the setting at any time.
5
Team action planThe team leaves with shared commitments for how it wants to work together.
A guide, not a script. The time spent on each topic varies with the group, so the facilitator adjusts the pace to your team. Symphony 100 also reviews this syllabus on a regular basis and adjusts the topics and activities to better meet clients' needs, so the outline above is subject to change.
What each person takes away
New managersUnderstand their own management style, and learn to adapt how they direct, delegate and motivate before habits set in.
Experienced managersSee how each direct report experiences their management, and adjust the approach that has stopped working with particular people.
HR and senior leadersGive every manager the same language and tools, so people are managed consistently well across teams.
WHERE SESSION 1 STARTS
Four styles, one shared language
Everyone is a blend of all four Everything DiSC® styles, and one, two or even three usually stand out. No style is better than another: every style brings strengths, and every style has blind spots. Session 1 shows each participant where they fall and why they react the way they do.
Tap a style to see how it shows up at work:
D · Dominance
People with a strong D style tend to be: Direct, firm, strong-willed, forceful.
Every manager has a style. Every direct report needs something different.
Imagine you are handing off a new project to two people on your team. One wants the goal and the deadline, and then wants to be left alone. The other wants clear guidelines and to know you will be there if something goes wrong. Give both the same hand-off, and one feels micromanaged while the other feels left on their own. Everything DiSC® Management shows each manager their own management style, and how to adapt their approach to each person they manage.
An introduction to Everything DiSC® Management: how managers adapt delegation, feedback, and motivation to each direct report.
Three management principles
1
Your style shapes how you manage
Your DiSC® style has a strong influence on how you approach management. Life experience, education, and maturity also play a role.
2
No style is better than another
People with every style can be great managers, even when they approach the role differently.
3
Adapt to the people you manage
Whatever your own style, you need to adapt to the styles of the people you manage.
The Management map
The eight priorities around the circle show what different managers tend to emphasize in their work, and what the people they manage value. Each learner's profile places their dot and comfort zone on this map, then uses it in every part of the Management section.
Tap a part of the profile to see what each style needs:
You will learn: How the DiSC® model shows up in the role of manager, your own management style, and the priorities that drive it.

What managers take back to their team
Direct and delegateHand off work in the way each person responds to: more autonomy for some, clearer guidelines and support for others.
MotivateBuild an environment where each person finds their own motivation, from public recognition to sincere appreciation.
Develop talentSupport each person's long-term growth by building on their strengths, not only fixing their weaknesses.
Manage upUnderstand their own manager, get buy-in, and speak up for what the team needs.
AFTER THE SESSIONS
Catalyst™ keeps working after the workshop ends
Catalyst™ turns self-understanding and understanding of others into tools people use, in a practical and visual way. Every participant keeps access after the sessions and comes back to it in the moments that matter: before a meeting, when a new person joins, or when a project team gets stuck.
Your Colleagues
Pick any colleague and see your two styles side by side: what you have in common, where you are likely to misread each other, and tips for working together. Learners use it before a first meeting, a handover, or a difficult conversation.
Your Groups
Put any set of people on one map and see the group's style mix at a glance. Conversation Starters then give the group prompts for getting to know each other, making decisions together, and communicating clearly.
Group Continua
See where each member falls on spectrums such as logic versus feelings, or realities versus possibilities. The group spots its natural tilt and the perspectives it tends to leave out when it decides.
Get Advice
Ask for advice on a real situation, such as building a relationship, working through a tension, or getting buy-in, and receive tips written for your style and the other person's.
Learner privacy
Learners who prefer not to share their style can opt out from the Privacy tab in Catalyst™ and change the setting at any time.

HOW IT WORKS
From order to action plan in four steps
1
Order, then a logistics call
Order the package for your cohort. The first step after your order is a call with Symphony 100 to go through the logistics: who is taking part, how the assessments go out, and what your team wants from the workshop.
2
Everyone completes the assessment
Every participant completes the Everything DiSC® on Catalyst™ assessment. The assessment unlocks each person's Everything DiSC Workplace® and Management insights. Symphony 100 confirms that all the assessments are in before the workshop is scheduled, so no session time is spent on filling in the assessment.
3
Schedule the five sessions
Once the assessments are complete, Symphony 100 schedules the five live sessions with you, typically one week apart.
4
Five live sessions, then keep going
Sessions 1 and 2 build the shared language of DiSC® and put it to work. Sessions 3 to 5 apply it to the work of managing. Each participant leaves with an action plan and post-session resources, and keeps using Catalyst™ long after the workshop.
YOUR TEAM REPORT
See the whole team, not just the individuals
Two reports turn the team's individual profiles into a picture of the group, and each one has a different job. The package includes the one you choose.

Group Culture Report

Why we keep cohorts small
The best learning happens in engaging, interactive groups where every participant is seen, heard and involved. Each workshop is built around 10 participants, with the option of adding 2 more for a dozen. Twelve is the breaking point: beyond a dozen, the quality of the discussion drops. Smaller groups give:
deeper discussion and participation
more opportunity for personal feedback
a closer connection between the facilitator and the participants
More than 12 people?
Order one package per cohort. Several cohorts can run in parallel or one after another, so different departments, locations or leadership levels all get the same experience. Symphony 100 coordinates the scheduling across cohorts.
Workshops are delivered remotely. Anything customized, such as different timing or content, and other arrangements (including in-person) are by custom quote on a call: Coaching, Consulting & Program Services →
